Inspired by the Hamar tribe in Southwestern Ethiopia in the Omo River Valley, this necklace is handstrung with various earth-tone and amber beads and accented with a natural jasper spearhead.
It is intended to be worn just lower than a chocker, laying at the base of the neck. It is curved to conform to your neck, so please order accordingly. It measures roughly 1 inch wide.
This necklace has a companion piece – the Omo Valley necklace. While this necklace is hugging the base of your neck, the Omo Valley necklace frames this necklace, resulting in a dazzling centerpiece. One of the pictures shows them together.
